Historic Kingston Map
The May 5, 1871 edition of the Semi-Weekly Express newspaper published in Cartersville featured the following article. “Mr. George W. Hill, our worthy and esteemed County Surveyor, showed us a beautiful map of the town of Kingston, drawn by his own fingers, the result of his own topographical ingenuity.” Anyone with information about this historic map or similar ones of local towns is asked to contact the Bartow History Museum archives at 770-382-3818 ext. 6283.
