Holiday Magic at the Grand Theatre Cartersville City Ballet performs “The Nutcracker”December 6th, 7th & 8th

If you happen upon dancing mice, leaping candy canes, sugar plums floating in the air or flying fairies this holiday season in downtown Cartersville do not fear. Magic is all around as the dancers of the Cartersville City Ballet prepare for their annual production of the “Nutcracker” at the Grand Theatre.
A magical journey for all to see, the “Nutcracker” ballet will delight all ages, filling the audience with a sense of wonder, joy and happiness. This year’s production of the “Nutcracker’ features 80 dancers, 200 costumes, 100 props, 3 backdrops, 1 snow bag, 10lbs of snow, 1 fog machine, 1 Christmas tree, 1 Victorian couch and chair, 20 holiday packages and 60 pair of pointe shoes. New characters and choreography will highlight this year’s performances.
Cartersville City Ballet’s annual presentation of the “Nutcracker” has become a holiday tradition for many families. Join the Nutcracker family this year!
